We collect donated prom dresses in Andover, Hampshire U.K and loan them for free to local year 11 students who are unable to afford a dress to attend prom
About Us
The Pay it forward principle...
The Andover Prom Dress Free Rental concept started in May 2019 and is run in Andover, Hampshire, by Mum of two, Kate Lamb who had been saddened to learn that there are many year 11 secondary school girls who avoid or cannot attend their end of school prom because their families are not in a financial position to be able to afford a dress.
Many women have old, unwanted or dresses that no longer fit, so we happily collect these donated dresses from local kind-hearted ladies who are happy to see them be reused and make someone's day.

We take NO money and are a non-profit local charitable service.

We believe strongly that young ladies should be able to feel good about themselves, have a positive body image, to have an equal chance to celebrate their end of school days with their peers without feeling under pressure and like they won't fit in.
We believe in reuse and recycling and we believe in the pay it forward principle where doing good turns for others and watching the good turns multiply makes the world a better place.

Dress Styles
We have a variety of dress styles in many shades from glamourous bejewelled princess style ballgowns, classic Grecian style gowns, Slinky fitted dresses, Lindy Hop gowns with petticoats and shorter simple less fussy styles.Â
We are fast collecting a wide variety of dress sizes and currently stock between sizes 6 to 20 for young ladies of all fabulous shapes and sizes.
We partner with local Andover Secondary schools to be able to reach out to young ladies in need of a prom dress.
We ask for NO money or deposit.
We simply ask that our dresses are returned one week later in good cleaned condition to be able to be readily reused by another girl in need.
We have negotiated a 50%Â discount with a local Andover dry cleaner for our clients to be able to make use of.
We welcome and are most grateful for any dress donations in great condition of any prom or bridesmaid style.
We collect all styles and colours.
